From Tree to Table
We set out to make the Jali Fruit Co. the most transparent snack on the planet. We wanted to trust our food again and knew it needed to be more than just a disclaimer on a pouch or a few words on the back.
It’s more than just learning about our process, we wanted to create an authentic connection between you and the real people who were making our snacks.

By working on the farm level with smallholder producers and women cooperatives, we’re better connected to the people who tend the land. Tracing each bag of fruit back to its source feels natural, because it’s their bag, not ours.

Kenya
Home to rich cultures and vibrant kangas. Resting on the Indian Ocean, means humid and warm winds which help grow some of the best mangoes in the world.
Tanzania
Three of the world’s largest freshwater lakes surround Tanzania along its western and northern edges. Africa’s largest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, stands tall above the African plains at 5,895m.
Uganda
Dense jungle and gorilla forests to the west and sloping hills in the south near Lake Victoria give Uganda a fantastic ecosystem in Eastern Africa. Uganda is famous for unique instruments and dances.

Haiti
From Grand’Anse to Port au Prince, Haiti is a proud and striving island nation in the Caribbean. The beautiful coasts have been battered by deforestation and natural disasters. As its second largest export, the mango is a symbol for the country’s potential for a greener future.

It’s All In a Tiny QR Code
Just scan the QR code placed individually on each bag and read the real story of the women who had dried the fruits and the farmers who grew them. Soon you’ll be able to follow the journey of each bag as it was packed, shipped and stored.
Our Cooperatives
Get to know each of our cooperatives through words and images: learn about where they live, some of their customs and about the fruit they harvest and dry.
