After the 2010 earthquakes in Haiti, teacher volunteers helped unite the members of this cooperative. Offering free schooling to hundreds of their children every year and teaching them how to harvest and dry fruits.
Located in the Central Plateau, this area is nestled between two large mountain chains on the west and the south, Chaos Mountains and Noires Mountains. The weather here is warm and humid (tropical) making mangoes, avocados, bananas, citrus, and sugar cane grow in abundance.
