Kikyusa Youth Dryers Cooperative (KYD) is situated in the Central Region of Uganda. The climate here is warm and humid and the language spoken is Luganda and English. The major fruits harvested here are pineapples, banana and jackfruit.
The cooperative is made up of mostly young mothers in their early twenties who have dreams of being business owners.
