Located in central Kenya, the Kihara Kakuzi Cooperative is made up of both the Kamba and Kikuyu tribes. The climate is mostly hot with some months bringing rain. Rumor has it if you sit quietly amongst the mango trees the wind moving through the leaves sounds like a million chirping birds.
Did you know? In this region for many years both the Kamba and Kikuyu tribes have married one another, which is why it is not uncommon living here to know four languages: Kamba, Kikuyu, Swahili and English.
